Earth texture

We build in harmony with the soil our buildings stand on.

Abúlé Sówó is a Cotonou-based studio shaping homes, civic spaces and landscapes across West Africa. Every project begins with the soil, the wind and the people of its site — and grows from local materials: rammed earth, timber, bamboo, terracotta.

We design slowly. We test, sketch, model and discuss until every wall earns its place. The result is architecture that feels inevitable — and quietly luxurious.
